I'm finding it difficult to pull away from our Plan B series! To be honest I wish we had a few more weeks to chew on the good food this series has served us. As I wrap my brain around the series I close with a statement from Craig Barnes' amazing book When God Interrupts:

"I find that people die pretty much the way they live. We have all heard about the deathbed confessions, but I've never witnessed one. What I've seen at the end of someone's life reflects what was always typical of that person. Those who always have friends seldom die alone. Those who value prayer want to pray at the end."

For me, this quote says it all! The way we are is the way it is! Are you happy with how things are going for you? Whoever you are and where ever you are, it's never too late to turn over the reins of your life to God. As we talked about on Easter, if you want to live in Sunday rather than Saturday, than get yourself to the point of really and honestly believing God is your only hope! Get to the point of being hungry for God! Make a pact with yourself to not settle for the trinkets of the world, like fame, money, and fancy vacations. If you are really serious about giving your life over to God, than ask one or two respectable and honest friends to hold you up in prayer for God to give you the strength to follow-thru with your intentions. Life is short but eternity is long! Go for God! Swing for the fences; bowl for a strike, throw for the bulls-eye!
