The Avengers!

Hey, with 28 graduation parties and 4 wedding in five weeks I’ve been too busy to blog!  But I’m almost through the marathon and it’s high time to share about our very exciting July/August sermon series titled: The Avengers! 

This will be a series covering the Fruit of the Spirit as noted in Galatians 5:22-23.  The verses surrounding verses 22 & 23 are all about the battle from within and without over the godly fruit of the Spirit and the “fruits of the flesh”.  These fleshy fruits might feel good on the front end, but eventually they will destroy us in the end.  It just makes sense to be led by the Spirit of God, producing fruit that will bring joy to us and everyone we come in contact with.

Mike Metkowski, Jon Engen, Justin Hosking and I have met three times to go over the passage and divide up the teaching responsibilities.  We’ve had a lot of fun preparing for this series and we pray God is glorified through our study and you are blessed! 

And don’t forget about our Tuesday evening service!  We’ve had four Tuesday evening services and we are averaging about 80 in number!!!
