The Family Channel: How to Restore Harmony to Your Family

This morning we are continuing The Family Channel series with a message titled, "How to Restore Harmony in Your Family". Family conflicts can be agonizing, intense and draining. Many times we allow conflict to rage in our family because we feel we are "right" or because we feel we have done all we can. This morning we are going to look at God's plan for resolving conflict and hopefully give you practical tool you can use to resolve conflict in your family.

Ken Sande, the author of Peacemakers - A Biblical Guide to Resolving Conflict and president of Peacemakers Ministries is devoted to helping Christians resolve conflict Biblically. He says, "when Christians become peacemakers, they can turn conflict into an opportunity to strengthen relationships and make their lives a testimony to the love and power of Jesus Christ." Isn't that extraordinary! By knowing and following God's instructions in conflict resolution we can "allow his redemptive, transforming love to spill over into our relationships."

God created us to be in relationship not only with him but with each other. Don't let conflict linger in your home. Don't let it rob your family of the joy and encouragement God designed relationships to provide.
