The passion of the River of Life Care Group Ministry is to reach out to those in our church and surrounding communities who are hurting and searching for God's unconditional love and undeserving grace. Our goal is to join together to find understanding and to receive God's counsel and healing touch in our lives.

Care Ministry Groups

DivorceCare

DivorceCare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are experiencing separation or divorce.

Come to where you can be around people who understand what you are feeling and will be able to offer hope and encouragement. It's a place where you can receive valuable information about ways to heal from the hurt of divorce. DivorceCare meets weekly on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. from September to May. Each week there is a DVD seminar combined with group discussion and sharing. The topics are followed as stated in the brochure and on the DivorceCare website. We take two weeks per topic to take more time to apply what was learned in the DVD. We have found this method to be very effective. We welcome you to begin attending DivorceCare at any time. We believe every topic is important no matter where you are in your journey of recovery. Child care is provided.

DC4K - DivorceCare for Kids

DC4K is a special 13 week program for kids ages 5 - 12 who are dealing with their parent's divorce or separation. DivorceCare for Kids is designed to bring healing to children of divorce and to give them hope and the tools to develop healthier relationships within their own families. Grief Share

Are you grieving the loss of someone close to you through death recently or maybe it was a while ago and you are still feeling the pain of grief.

Let us walk along side you, reaching out to find understanding and to offer hope, comfort, and encouragement to get on the path of healing.

GriefShare meets weekly on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. for 13 weeks starting in September and January of each year. Each week we meet for 1 1/2 hours with a DVD seminar combined with time for group discussion and sharing.

We welcome you to begin attending GriefShare at any time. Each session is "self-contained" so we believe every topic is important no matter where you are in your journey. Child care is provided.

Single and Parenting

As a single parent, you know how difficult and overwhelming it can be to face those daily challenges. You want to do what's best for your kids and worry that you are not. Single and Parenting is a group designed to offer encouragement and insights on how to find true rest and reasons for hope.

Single and Parenting meets weekly on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. for 13 weeks starting in September and January of each year. Each week we meet for 1 1/2 hours with a DVD seminar combined with time for group discussion and sharing.
